Ciro Immobile

From what I've seen in the World Cup he was a scrub. Although tbf that's all I've seen of him and under Klopp you never flop so who knows.

I do rate Immobile despite his lackluster World Cup performance. But even he doesn't make the Dortmund home kit look good.

In Serie A last season he was anything but. And this was at Torino, so he wasn't exactly surrounded by great players (he, Cerci and Darmian were the three best). In the national team, almost everyone was terrible, and too many internal issues. Can't blame him for a poor performance.

Puma  Their kits are so horrible they have to pay teams twice as much as Nike to make their kits.

They can make good kits though, some of the national team ones from this WC were nice.

Shining in a smaller club doesn't automatically mean the player will do better in a bigger club. Some players simply cannot cope with the pressure and vanish once moving to a bigger club. Some players are better staying at their mid-table teams and become a legend there than moving to a bigger club and disappear from the world of football.

Not saying Immobile is one of them, but he gives me the feeling that he might be one of those.

Regardless, no one can judge how he is as a player based on the WC. The only good players were Verratti and Darmian, and Pirlo against England.

I think Immobile can score 20+ goals for BVB this season (all comps).

Scored and then picked up an injury i hope it's nothing serious .

I don't think it is... it's not in the match report on BVB's website, nor is it mentioned in the GdS article about his goal. Probably something minor or a precaution then. Didn't see the game, but sounds like he did well (also had an assist). Hopefully he continues to do well against better opposition.

Their next friendly is on 6th August? If he will play, I definitely want to watch that one. If not, I know they play Liverpool on the 10th.

RE: video

Aubameyang and Immobile are both listed as 1.85 on wiki, but the latter looks shorter in comparison (@0:01)

Fail from the BVB keeper (I'm guessing its the Aussie lad). Speaking of gk, have BVB found Weidenfeller's successor? Roman made some bonehead errors last season, and I don't think he provides the solidity anymore to compete against THE EVIL from Bavaria.
