Claudio Bravo

Is he better than Masip? Because from what I've read here, he's pretty meh.

If he is better, I wouldn't mind him for like 7m. If he's not, don't even bother.

If this is true, EVERYONE surrounding the club is inept to say the least. The opposition has done JACK SHIT to hinder this board that ruins the club bit by bit, and I hold them partly responsible for all that has happened the past few years with the last 1,5 years in particular. For just 1-2M more you can get Keylor Navas, best GK last season.

If this is true, and it seems to be the case, I don't know what will help get us rid of this board. 2016, another great campaign via Mundo Deportivo and the local socios all vote like gullible idiots for another term. Mark my words, we have yet to see the absolute worst.

People realize that you can't have 2 world class goalkeepers, right? You can't buy the BEST goalkeeper in the league who is 27 with about 8 more years in his prime and plant his ass on the bench behind a youngstar. There will be conflicts in the dressing room. Let's say ter Stegen makes a mistake or two. Everyone will demand Keylor to take his place. And if he doesn't make mistakes, which is likely because he is GOAT, good luck sitting him on the bench again for no reason and developing ter Stegen without putting pressure on him. Just an example what could happen.

Which club apart from Real Madrid does have 2 elite goalkeepers anyway? And that only because of Mourinho's asshatery. No idea why people freak out about this. Not getting a proper starting CB and rumoured negotiations for Mathieu and Miranda instead is far more of a concern. This transfer will only be bad if they pay double digits for Bravo. He can't cost close to ter Stegen. € 6M is about right.

But what if ter Stegen flops or struggles early on? Then what? Rely on Bravo for the rest of the season...no thanks. Besides Lucho said there would be competition, bringing in Bravo means ter Stegen is the starter from day 1

Caballero is older than Bravo, and a much better keeper. I don't think Navas is the favorite here.
