Wouldnt be surprised if we still end up with Willian like Valverde wanted next year. Along with benching Frenkie for workhorses smh.

If he'll play well and get more chances, then you'll need to bench Coutinho and Dembele.
Then their confidence will be crap.

This is Barca, we have 2-3 players playing on the same position.
Poor Semedo, his confidence is poor.
Poor Arthur, his confidence is poor.
Poor Dembele, his confidence is poor.
Poor Malcom, his confidence is poor.
Should we ask Uefa to allow us to play with 18 players instead of 11?

Btw. Vidal is usually a 4th pick, but always gives 120% when he gets a chance.
Yet, some other guys give 20% when they DO get a chance.
But, EV is always guilty for everything...

tbh he looks more like a Pedro level of player. He can't carry an attack and if asked to do so he will look awful, but as supporting player he can do well with his speed.
He still need to improve his finishing though

He is much better than what we've seen so far but maybe here is not the best place for him.
Needs playing time to continue his development. Either we sell or loan.

I said somewhere before that there is no place in this team for developing or 'growing' players under Valverde.
Malcolm, Aleñá, Puig etc. No fault of him it's just his coaching style.
combined with the fact that he prefers smaller squads and little rotation.
So as long as he is here, we should focus more on acquiring seasoned players who are ready right away to contribute at a high level.
Players who need the time to adapt and grow, no. Maybe with klopp or some other coach but not here with valverde.

That is exactly what he is. A top squad player who can impact a match even against top sides, like he did vs Madrid, Inter and Atletico. He is not great enough to carry a mediocre attack on his own, but very few players are, and those who can do that cost far more than the 40m. we paid for him.

Come on you damn well know Valverde could've given him some more minutes in parts of this season. Even GOATverde isn't flawless.

I would have swore Lenglet, Arthur, and Dembele got all the minutes they could physicialy handle. Seems like if your young, and very very good, there are plenty of opps.

I really doubt he will play. Sergi and alena are more likely options to sub for coutinho.
