btw EV is also blocking his development by letting him warm the bench for 180 minutes for no reason.
Messi played 10 minutes in 8 consecutive Liga games when he was even older than Fati and it didn't block his development. He later called the same coach who did that "the best coach he ever had".
Only here people will feel there is nothing to gain when a young player will get some games on the bench, despite it happening for most talents. Rarely young players get promoted and suddenly be playing most of the minutes or close to it directly when he is just moved from youth team. Surely not for club in Barca level and not for a player who isn't even 17.
Even Pep is doing the same with Foden, who played less minutes with City playing 2 more games and Fati himself getting injured 2 games.
Foden is 19, Fati is 16. It is critical to play as much as possible for him, even Messi was playing regularly for Barca B in his age.
Exactly my thoughts. Awful today.not gonna lie , our worst player first half.
If Dembele had put this performance first half , he would have been crucified dawgs.
Tough game for him so far. Also seems like him and Alba,(and occasionally de Jong) cluster up in the same space.
He was Dembelesque tonight, made the same kind of mistakes... Still he hadn't played in a month, so gets some slack...
