I'm curious to see what team Ernie signs with next. Given how so many people in the press have lauded him as a top manager I expect one of the big dogs in Italy, England or Germany to hire him.

He might follow Pep at City eventually. Until then it's a sheikh team, or any team with monetary investment i.e. Milan, perhaps PSG if they fail again.

IF he gets fired, he will go to some Spanish midtable team or back to the Greece super league where the weasel belongs.

I don't think it'll be like that at all, tbh. Lucho was hailed as a top manager and despite that, he was very rarely even linked to top teams after his departure. even after his stint with Spain ends, I don't see him moving to a top club in the future, either. And unlike with Lucho, anyone with eyes could see that Valverde sucks, because at least Lucho was able to get some results when he was here.

I doubt he gets a top, top job anywhere in England or at PSG. Milan would be a possiblity though for sure.

:cheers: Now move this fucker's thread into Barca's history, or better yet, into Real Madrid's thread (for obviously being their undercover agent all this time), cause he doesn't deserve to be associated with us ever again!!!

I reckon you overestimate the scale of their projects. If both teams keep the same board and decision makers who either don't target the CL or don't know how to target the CL, there is no reason why they wouldn't hire a multiple time La Liga and Copa winner to succeed their current coaches. Unless of course he goes somewhere and fails miserably before their management positions are free, then of course he won't be in the conversation. The two chokes in the CL should be a good enough deterrent for class teams, but sheikh teams aren't necessarily a different class at this stage. And are not likely to become different class any time soon, unless they actually put their European record behind them.
