Although Pique is world's best or second-best right now, depending where you ask.

Him and Chiellini IMO.

Portugal also has quality defenders: Carvalho, Pepe, Bruno Alves..
I'm leaning towards Spain

Probably Spain, if this was a few years back I would've said England as they had a lot strength in depth...

Rio, Terry, G.Neville, A.Cole, King, Woodgate, Carragher.

Now, apart from 2 or 3 most of these players are consistently injured or crap due to old age or loss of form...

Ramos should not even be there. Hes nothing but a hard tackling clown. But overall id say its between Spain and Brazil.

Tough one. Spain or Brazil are the best there but Serbia have a steady defence as well with Vidic in it.

England are good all round. Spain and Brazil lack quality at LBs.

I voted Spain, but it really depends on the way that teams play. England probably have the best defenders at the moment, but the way that Spain plays makes Pique and Puyol so much more effective
