I'm a bad guy but Fati and Rassy are absolute gems and forum royalty. Wanna make that very clear.
@Temptation
This is it in case you don't know anything about it. Gonna go to the 1.10 pm showing (though that really starts at about 1.40 pm post trailers). It's only £5 admission on a Monday too with my Insider card.

okIf you knew about SRA and mk hollywood you would know better than to watch their programming.
ok
I am well aware but still watch. I don't take it that seriously.
Lol it's just a film, I don't take it literally or let it plant ideas in my subconscious.you don't understand the irony of it only being "entertainment" for you and the masses, because the real thing is entertainment for those in the network, hence programming

Stop being melodramatic. Maybe that happens to others but not me - I don't even pay attention to celebrity culture and these days avoid politics.
ok whatever you saybless your heart
ok whatever you say

ok fair enough if you think that, I don't wanna argue.and your psychotic interaction with jamdav shows otherwise, this isn't to say I blame you or anyone for falling for programming since it's comprehensive in media
ok fair enough if you think that, I don't wanna argue.
I don't think that was because of movies or anything though. That's probably just me being genetically unstable.
You might well be right.Everything has biological effect. Being conditioned to enjoy watching real torture or hollywood depiction of it creates disassociation, fear, and anger.
You might well be right.
Isn't it possible that I just enjoyed the film, though? I didn't come out of it feeling angry or bloodthirsty or anything. But like you imply, the whole idea is you don't consciously realise what it is doing.
I wouldn't call it 'enjoyment'. I think it's the wrong word.Fictional hollywood scenes (ironically scripted/inspired directly from reality in many instances) of war, torture, murder, rape labeled as "art" and freedom of expression.
No free people would ever enjoy that "art."
But I guess you could say why would a person want to be fed images that make them feel horrified or appalled? That's another question and likely backs up your point.
Like one of my favourite films is A Clockwork Orange. I like the theme of free will vs constraint. But you will probably say I must be unwell mentally to like such a controversial film.
