16 - Fermín López

Was maximum a yellow - wasn't like he was out to foul him, didn't really come in that fast or hard either - he also touched the ball first.
But he was crucial today, don't know if we would make it if not for his goal.

Took the ball first and there was no intention. Whatever.

Glad for his goal. Important to take us back in the lead so soon into 2nd half.

It looked bad cause he also caught the player when his foot was on the ground. Could have been a nasty injury too

We won the game so who cares now , nice goal tho

He got the ball first on the red card vs Sevilla.

Controversial red card,
Notice how VAR team never showed the camera angle, from which it was seen that he touches the ball first. They only showed it from single angle, where ball movement is blocked.

It was a reckless challenge though so i can understand the red.

Leg way too high. Unnecessary. Didn’t seem intentional tho. But Seemed he knew himself already he was in trouble.

But his goal was still crucial to give us a cushion.

Var was shady last night on that offside call. Plenty of photos on twitter that challenge it.
Was very fishy that it took them few minutes to show the graphic too.
And we know which cunt was in charge of var. Fucking del Cerro born in Grande Madrid. Apparently also in var room for Lewa disallowed goal where they altered his foot.

Cules don't hate these blatant thieves enough.

Made a big difference when came on again.

Havinf players like him that attack space in box allows for much more options for Raph and Pedri dropping a bit wider to try and find those chipped/crosses into box.

Flick loves those balls as they are so hard to defend when come off.

Pedri and Raph are best at putting them in and likes of Fermin causes confusion with way he attacks space.

Barca must have scored double figures on balls in from that area in recent weeks.

Really like that he seems to know his role and understand his limitations. He tries to stick to doing what he knows he can do rather than what he can't.

As long as we don't receive a big offer for him he'll be useful. He is a different profile and a big change of pace.

Can anyone genuinely tell me another attacking midfield in the world that can boast

good passing,
good dribbling ( been going nutmeg crazy last few games ),
good acceleration and pace,
great movement,
great finishing,
decent heading,
great longe range shooting,
great energy and work rate,
good pressing and tackling,
decent crossing,
good first touch and technique ??

And at 21 years of age as well.

There is a great great player in there waiting to burst out. I'm not surprised the EPL is interested at all. I think he is perfectly suited to that league and would tear it apart.

Fermin has a very wide skillset amongst current day attacking midfielders. The way people go crazy about other players who are more limited, like Valverde for example, who is basically a one trick pony long shot merchant, is disrespectful to what we already have here from La Masia.
