Emiliano Martínez 'Dibu'

He should have been "fueled" already by this. This is a cop-out.

You can't keep calling him the best GK itw and keep falling back on the Qatar WC. Best GKs perform week in week out for their clubs.

He chatted shit, did a lot of trash talk and got spanked. Simple as that.

Gotta take the Ls to know the real value of the Ws, pal.

What are you talking about? He is performing week in week out

You do realize that he contributed a lot helping Villa reach the CL since 1983?

This season, they are only 2 pts away from a CL spot and in the FA Cup Semi final.

Dibu is living rent-free in your head lad

Dibu was pretty poor on the night though. A big game player for sure, but last night wasn't his night. That Doue goal was saveable. It wasn't exactly a rocket, just a top shot an elite keeper is supposed to reach and push over.

I have issues also with the 2nd goal.

I rate him. He's in my top 5 GK currently. But the PSG game is an L no matter how you spin it.

I think he's getting trolled because of the trash talking pre game. He was actively winding up the French fans. So it's fair game.

Personally, I don't care about Dibu. I don't mind the shithousery and I like Villa as a club so I got nothing against him. Have given him loads of praise in the past. I hope they knock PSG out.

PSG is not us faster. They are us faster in midfield but with less technique and imagination. If we face them, I'm sure we'll have the possession, because we are more technical than them in more positions.

I don't think you've actually watched a lot of PSG this season.

I know because you haven't said much about vitinha or neves.

We are not technically better than they are.

They see our yamal, with Kvaratskhelia. Yamal is better but not on a technical level, he's just that guy.

Then they add hakimi where we have kounde, vastly superior to kounde technically.

Mendes is probably better than Balde right now.

Its a wash all over the field.

Technically we are 50/50.

The advantage we have is the special star dush in players like yamal & Pedri, plus big players game players like Raphinha, experience of Lewa.

I have seen PSG in some games. Pedri, De Jong, Yamal, Olmo are technically superior to the players PSG can form a midfield with. Then you add Cubarsi and Inigo who on the ball are probably top 5 in Europe CBs, and you get a very solid core of 6-7 players that can and probably will dominate the possession vs PSG and control the match.

The problematic part of PSG is their speed with which they get the ball to their front 3, and all of their front 3 are individually gifted in take-ons. They are better than us in transition, but in positional play we are superior.

Provided Olmo is fully fit, I don't think a player from PSG could replace any of our midfield 3.

I would for sure pick Pedri over Neves and De Jong over Fabian. Maybe Vitinha with Olmo is a pick'em. And out of Kvara, Raphinha, Dembele, Yamal, Doue... players who could elevate the midfield output, the most ability to influence the flow of the game with slick passing and creativity on the ball is Lamine.

Not only that, but out of all wingers, another advantage, the one with the best defensive coverage is Raphinha. This is another asset that can be used to make sure we control the ball.

All of this can be useless because PSG don't need to control the midfield to win the game.

The fact that you said some tells me you really haven't seen much, but okay lol.

Pedri
Olmo
De jong

Isn't technically better than
Neves
Vitinha
Ruiz

Sorry but it's true, you are just going off names if you actually believe that.

Our CBs are better, but thier FBs are better, so it's a wash there, technically.

The advantage is experience in high leverage moments, but I hope we don't get to find out.
