1 - Joan García

How the hell do we manage to get an injury on our most irreplaceable player when he is slipping outside of the pitch?
That artificial turf on perimeter clearly too slick when wet and looked like it also has a gradient (likely for drainage) which contributed to the injury

Unlucky but clear they will need to rethink how to address that for future

BREAKING: Joan García has suffered an injury to the meniscus in his right knee.

He is expected to be out for 3 weeks.

Didn't find confirmation yet but sucks we'll go with Tek against Sevilla.

At least int break starts soon.

Flick won't start Tek after his performance vs Racing. Liva gets the chance probably.

It's no big deal, international break is coming soon and our keepers don't even get tested much anymore. It's just that it seems he's struggling with this knee a lot.

I don't think it's the same knee as last time.

Hope Liva is ready, we need to do 7/7 before the break.

EPL stadiums have even more gradient around the sides. It never made sense to me why they would do this, which increases the potential for injuries even more.

Tek will start

The international break is a blessing in disguise now. Could see us losing points having to play 3 weeks with Tek.

Already his second injury with us, just starting his second season, while in Asspanyol he was injured once in 5 years. It was an unlucky situation, but still. We need him available and in top form, if we want to compete at the highest level. He's the only player in the team we can't replace without a significant drop in quality. Even Lamine or Rapha wouldn't weigh us down so much because of a good attack depth.

What an idiotic way to get injured. I don't get why we gave away Pena if we don't trust Livakovic. Did they really think we'd fly just with retired Pek?

In his defense, Tek wasn't the problem in that game.

We were TERRIBLE in the first half, Lewa missed a penalty, etc.

To be quite frank: it's embarrassing to get injured like that. Does he do anything in the gym?

I am 46 and never got injured while playing football at potato fields, asphalt, etc.
