Beat Croatia in last 16 ET after Busquets off as was toiling late on.

Beat Switzerland on penalties in QF.. Busi being leggy and missing penalty also.

Out to Italy in semis... he played fairly well on ball that game.

Thats the highlight...

That Euros 2020 Spain beat one team in 90 mins with Busi on the pitch... Slovakia.

Drew with Poland, Sweden, Croatia, Switzerland and Italy.

'Morata missed a penalty'.. so to did Busquets v Switzerland.

He was poor for Spain after Xavi/Iniesta far more than was any good in intl tournaments. Got over run a lot as did for Barca a lot in bad CL defeats.

LE could have put Busi in central defence, like Pep did a few times, and Rodri in midfield.

But he didnt.

Coz Busi is better.

No Lucho made a mistake and results showed it.

All coaches make mistakes... 'coach always knows best argument' is as ever a very weak one.

Argument for Busi being he was picked ahead of Rodri.. lets ignore he was shit and team was shit.

LE is biased. He has worked with Busi before. Plus the Barca connection and Rodri being a better defender/taller.

Busi is a better dribbler, more press resistant and beautiful/elegant to watch. Rodri has a better passing range, is a bigger goal threat, more physical and a better defender.

Also a better leader and more versatile. He cooked under Simeone and Guardiola - 2 completely opposite systems.
