11 - Raphinha

It's not impossible, it's unprofessional. What other players do is not relevant. Raphinha is a professional.

I already explained it above. If all players choose to save their energy for clubs then what are international managers supposed to do? How do they evaluate their squad when nobody is giving it all?
What’s unprofessional is risking an injury in a friendly game, knowing that it could leave you unable to provide your services to the team that actually pays your salary. It's literally that simple.
And I say that as someone whose favorite Barca player is Raphinha.

Inb4 all of the meltdown just for the show for Brazilian fans and the media so he can return earlier in peace and rested to Barcelona instead of playing another unnecessary game. 😂

Ain't aware of recents events but if he really went all in with his pressing in a random unimportant friendly game , only to injure himself , he is as dumb as he is goated.

The idea that you can’t control the amount of effort given according to the game importance is idiotic. That’s literally what the greatest athletes of all time are known for. LeBron is the king of taking it light during regular season but raising his intensity heavily during playoffs. Messi has done it for the last two world cups. Even Dembele has done it for the last two champions league. If dembele who’s not known for being the smartest out there can use his brain to control his pressing output, I’m sure Raphina can too. History remembers those who perform in the biggest stages, not in useless friendlies.
