11 - Raphinha

Probably was already an agreement made between Brazilian football federation and Barça that he doesn't travel to India and returns earlier to Barcelona. No need to play another unnecessary friendly with the packed schedule Barça has right ahead. Only way they don't lose face is that he is "injured".

Thanks to this forum

FC Barcelona will talk to Raphinha today to find out why he's getting injured so often, and in the same area, while away with the Brazilian national team. Barça hope to see if there's any pattern in training or in warm-ups that causes these injuries. [@angelperezpx]
I had named the suspect the other day - Ancelotti's fitness coach.

I remember Dembele in the first 2 years of his Barca career spent more time in Dr. Cugat's office than on the training ground. All because of the donkey warm-up routines at the club.

We play at home... start Jesus, he needs to find his rhythm and gel with his teammates in case Raph REALLY gets injured.

Jesus should start regardless. He hasn't travelled for internationals and is training with Barca. Should be a guaranteed start for him next weekend. Plus, we travel to meet Galatasaray 2 days after Getafe

Have to say the two goals Jesus scored so far in the little minutes he had are authentic no9 finishes. We even have as option lining up with Raphinha in his natural position, Jesus, Lamine. Fine with that in a big game if Jesus progresses well and stays fit.

Raphinha is a natural goalscorer, he will score a lot even at LW no issues. We need to integrate Jesus in our regular playing time group of players because I think he is our best bet as a 9 if something happens to Raphinha.

Need to keep our options open, there is no filler in the squad anymore from midfield up. We've come a long way since being in Europa League 4 years ago.

His father is of Italian descent. His Roman ancestors probably conquered North Africa through Middle East, Illyricum, Germania and Gaul.
Now he"s here subduing peoples of Iberia.
