14 - Karim Adeyemi

If Rapha stays at 9 I think Gordon will be a starter because he's better, more reliable and better at linkup while Adeyemi will be a backup for all 3 position to come against tired legs with his incredible speed and causing chaos. Not a bad plan.

That’s not sustainable for the entire season. We’re still missing one top player, otherwise we’ll have to involve more Hamza, Bisiwu, or potentially Olmo against low blocks, as he’s the one who’s best suited to dealing with tight spaces.

Maybe he thought he can run without shoes. Should get soon more playing time, as CL starts and we need to keep Rapha and Gordon fresh and juicy. Maybe already against Valencia on Sunday.
 
No chance, he's going to be what some pretended Rashford was last season. A reliable backup for all 3 position with good stats but not good enough to be a starter. I think he'll cause chaos on tired legs in second halves many times.

That depends on the expectations. For a 20m fee, nobody will expect him to be an undisputed starter. If he scores 10+ goals this season and remains fit to give rest for the other wingers, it'll be a good transfer.
 
No way he flops, he's already been decent.

Only chance of that happening is if flick does what he normally does which is to get fixated on certain players in his XI and doesn't rotate the team enough. Then he goes games without playing and gets cold.

If he plays regularly he's going to contribute.

The calender is long and demanding, especially after a WC year. He'll get plenty of opportunities to show himself and we'll see from there. But I also doubt this transfer will be a failure, because of the low cost in comparison to Gordon. At worst, he'll be a mediocre transfer the club will be able to sell without a loss.

And that's exactly what he's doing so far. Started one game, came off the bench in other two. Will likely start one of the next 2-3 games again.

It's all guessing at this point and no use of arguing. It's a hunch I have and what I read from his body language and how he moves.

Hope I'll be proven wrong.

Once all midfielfers are match fit and return from injuries there will be pressure on those forward spots from likes of Fermin and Olmo too. Brutal competition.
 
He can also play all three positons so should still be enough minutes for him. Versatility is likely one of the main reasons Flick choose him over someone like Asllani for example.

He'll score more than 10 and miss like 50 big chances
