I do think he has a lot of talent but he's not a right fit for Barça, of this I am confident. We have a young commodity that Europe knows about, it's rare that Barça is in this position with someone surplus to needs...especially in midfield. So hopefully Deco et al play this smart and maximize return on his potential in the market, whether it is a direct sale this summer (I think here we are less likely to get max potential) vs loan that could then lead to bigger fee. Plus, loans are easier if they are structured smartly - seeing Endrick get a lot of starts is one way, I would like to see our loans with protection over not being properly utilized

Rashford isn't too expensive. He's just too expensive for a club restrained by LL's corrupt and communistic FFP rules.
He's a nice backup. But his salary should be on par with Ferran's. That's all. But 30m is more than a fair price for his output.
How high are you right now?
On par with Ferran Torres? Whos got almost as many goals as Mbappe without pens?

If he starts playing regualry he will start getting exposed more. Flick needs to bench him again so he remains a mystery to potentila buyers and they a lil money.

I see no moves being done to improve the defense and people want to add a RW back-up to the list of issues the squad will have to fix by selling Roony.
We just played Roony instead of Yamal and beat both Getafe and Osasuna away. 6 points away vs teams we got 1 against last year. He is way way down the list of issues we have.
Roony is good enough to do a decent job, and is certainly not a weakness in the team. The only reason you'd consider selling him is if some team comes with an offer we can make good profit on, something like 20m+.
In that case we take the 20m, sell him, and try to find another cheap option that can do a decent job instead of him. I would say that, for a 2.5m signing, Roony is excellent. He's way better than that measly sum we paid for him.

I wouldn't even sell him for 20m.
A backup at the LW position, who is atleast acceptable, would be costing around the 20-30m mark.
So essentially we won't make any money out of him. Better to keep him for another season, if he doesnt suit us, he can easily be sold for 20m come 2027.
Hence, Roony is atleast acceptable right now. People are looking for wonders here which they are not going to get.
A GOOD player would never want to be a Backup to Yamal, when he knows Yamal will play atleast 3500min a season.
What you are going to get are DECENT players who would accept being a backup. And they will cost around 20m. It doesnt make sense to sell or get rid of Roony.

Dude what? We want to win CL, you think we have the slightest chance to come even close if Yamal is out and we have to play Roony there? Dude will get murdered out there, boys vs men. Also, "easily be sold for 20m"? Allow me to laugh, we'll be lucky to get our 3M back... dude has played 800 minutes and all he has to show for is 2 lucky goals, 1 elastico and 1000 backpasses. There are MUCH better players out there more or less for free, add 10-20M and we can pick up quality with some good scouting. Flick tries Roony right now because we have LL more or less in the bag, but he can't be happy with what he's seeing.

I think he is easily a 15-20m player right now. We have a history of selling "mediocre" players for that sum. If Pau Victor and Fati can go for around 15m, Roony will be sold easily for that sum.
Also we have other places that need immediate attention rather than spending 20-30m on a LW backup. You seem to forget we already have Raphinha. We arent rich or owned by an Oil company.
Getting a RW is what's more importatnt.
Roony is behind Raphinha who is behind Yamal for the LW spot, you need to remember that. This is the reason I am completely happy with Roony.

Dude isn't a "mediocre player" - he's an experiment that didn't work out. Where he could fit in, Parma/Mallorca level at best, won't pay even 10M - and tbh Roony would be warming the bench even in Parma/Mallorca level team. He can maybe bring in 5M if somebody takes a huge chance on him - which won't happen if we keep playing him.

His MARKET VALUE is 15m right now. And we have a history of selling "MEDIOCRE" players for around that sum.
He will be sold for around 15m if we want to. But thank god, Deco is shit, but not that shit that he would want to offload Roony at this point.

If Deco know what the he's doing Roony is out this summer for under 10m - I'm 100% sure and you can quote me on that when it happens. Next summer we won't get a cent for him...

I think someone like Malcom was much better than him but a capable SD would get 15-20 mil for him. I don't think he has a big wage, that's a big difference to someone like Fati even if the quality is similar. He should be much easier to sell but can't expect anything from Deco. It's probably going to be loan while paying part of his wages

Where do you get these conclusions? He has performed well for Barca in several games and he is one of best young RW talents right now. I think he would very comfortable start for the teams you mentioned, and probably better than that.
Barca fans have this tendency to conclude players who aren't good enough for us can't play anywhere. We've heard the same kind of stuff being said about Balde, Kounde, Ferran, Araujo etc. Barca standards are a different breed. Players who are shit for us are probably world class for a different team.
