Hate to break it to you. None in LaMasia is better than Roony at the RW spot.

It was evident the moment he played in those preseason games. And thats why he was kept in the squad and not loaned out.
If you are bitching now, it would be even worse then. The only option is to get another player from the market. And it will cost atleast 15m for us to buy one.

So your solution is to bring in a 15 year old, into a position which is dominated by Yamal, where the said 15 year old will at most play 600minutes the whole season. When playing time is the most important aspect in developing one's potential????

And then you will wonder why we fucked up with countless LaMasia players from early generations.

We're not in a position to take all three fronts equally. Of course, you don't go around saying Copa is less relevant, but in the early stages, you take some strategic risks. All teams do that. Depending on Yamal for full 90 minutes against Segunda teams would be crazy; luckily, it's not the case.

Most managers prefer working with smaller squads where players are easily interchangeable. But that rarely happens. So you either enlist all your resources into the race or you suffer the consequences later, like we do year in, year out. And as always, the more you invest in backups in terms of time and opportunity, the more you get out of them. Usually.

He doesn't have anything exceptional to show for himself, that tells you he might have a future in Barcelona. Neither the speed, nor workrate, nor skills with the ball. He's bang average, who can't win a duel against Alaves.

The pressure to show something has probably gotten to him also. I haven't seen him smiling lately, he seemed to be quite cheerful at the start of the season and now everytime camera pans to him he looks deadpan serious.

It's true that he has been bad after Lamine's injury but I don't think he is as bad as he has been lately. One goal or assist and he would have gotten big confidence boost. Happens to athletes all the time.

He had soo much potential in the pre-season. He gave some good performance in the beginning of the season and now he plays so bad. I don’t what happenned to him. I think not playing has hurt his confidence. Also He had some problem with the swedish football team.

Don’t see him staying here in the long terms. He is gone.

I don’t think he had a problem with Swedish NT, he just had never really gotten into the team with any regularity and coupled to their coaching changes - caught in the transition fallout more than anything

A great season at Barça may have tipped things in his favor for WC chances but it was ambitious at best. Now, seems more & more obvious he will not be at Barça next season

As I say, profit from him - on balance, he has been a shrewd addition at a pittance and we’ll turn a nice profit
 
I do like his dribbling and explosiveness getting into box. He’s agile with feet.
