Facts are what the facts are. It's not true that De Jong missing is not felt in the team's performances. I miss him in the bigger games. He's a very good player just a level below world class for me.
His movement and intelligence in terms of positioning are key in helping us mitigate Pedri's flaws also.
we didn’t play well against atletico.Facts are what the facts are.
He's better than the alternatives we have in the squad now. Mainly due to age.
But when he's out, the numbers don't lie.
We've played big games vs Newcastle & atletico since he's been out and played well in all of those games.
But good to have him back
we didn’t play well against atletico.
I actually thought we played a bit better against them in the cl game.
We lost two games without him.
One we were down to 10 men.
Replaced by a B team kid seamlessly 2 seasons in a row.
Been out for a extended period for 3 seasons in a row, under two different managers and the teams level didn't drop 1 bit.
But he's a rolls Royce player, that is fans will tell you is fundamental to the teams success lol, they won't let facts get in the way.
That being said, good that he's back we need bodies at this point in the season & I think bernal is also injured.
Just nonsense as usual.
22/23 - Best midfielder and beat Real with likes of Pedri missing. Massively missed when injured in 2nd half of season and cost Xavi a double losing 4-0 to Real at home in worst home defeat in decades in Cup when out.
23/24 - Barca were top of league before Frenkie got injured and by far best midfielder in team at start of season. Ankle never really recovered fully that season even when back.
24/25 - Barca were 7 points off Real and barely won a league game in months before Frenkie got fit.
Dont let truth get in way though.
