He is massively important.

Barca won 7 of 8 Pedri missed in league.. in game missed pen and ref had howler to allow goal when Kounde fouled.

Pedri also massively important.

Bernal, Eric and Gavi are nowhere near FDJ and Pedri that is the reality.

Usual folk who think Casado is a top talent have no clue.

Same folk who claimed Gundo should stay and play deeper ahead of Pedri etc.

Not a single clue.

It's because he has a bigger engine. Runs more, is faster, more stamina. These things count a lot. Central midfield is a position that requires a lot of energy.
 
As said before Barcas 4 best players are Pedri, Frenkie Raph and Yamal.

Missing 1 impacts. Missing 2 is big and can see it clear as day.

It matters a lot because we have seen games Pedri is poor and Frenkie steps up. Have seen the opposite etc.

When one is there an plays poorly the midfield goes to fuck.

Barca midield has been poor recently at home to Rayo, away to Bilbao, away to Newcastle, away to Atleti but got away with it a bit.
 
3 most important players* jamdav is the only one who keeps adding 4 😂. And if we are going that far, Joan Garcia is 100% more important than him.

Fermin contributes as much or more than him this season.

Let's not put him & Pedri is the same sense.

No jokes I would say he is our 5th/6th most important player, which explains why he is so easily replaced when injured by 3rd division players.

Every excuse in book gets made for Pedri.

Thats two of last three CL games he has been poor in.. but but 'stop start season' etc.

Same Pedri who Barca have better results in league when doesnt start than when does if want to go down that route.

Same Pedri who last season before Frenkie back could barely win league game in months and was losing to worst team in league etc.

Pedri doesn't need excuses he's a top 2 Midfielder in the world.

Excuses every time.

We will see by end of season if he is one of top two.

Hasnt had many top top games in CL this season or v Real/Ateltico.

You can mutter excuses every time he is poor like in midweek though.

Fact remains Barca have better results in league without him than with him if want to look at that.
 
5th/6th most important players for Barcelona is pretty good for a player, nothing to be a shamed of.

Will drop back further if we sign a class striker & defender and a few players gain form, but pretty good, not WC but very good.

At least we know if he's injured he can grab any player from the B team and he won't be missed, even if it's against the like if Madrid, Bayern, atletico, Newcastle etc.

That would be Pedri who Jamrock claims Gavi is more important than and 'has to play as Barcas most advanced midfielder'.

Same Pedri Jamrock has no clue about when said Gundo, Gavi better than Pedri in a midfield two.

Same Pedri that 'La Masia' can replace in a few years according to Jamrock.

With Pedri in shit form we could use Frankie to step up. but will still need creativity which he doesn't bring. It's all up to Lamine to create. and ita fine, he can do it, as long as the midfield and defense keep up for 90 minutes with atlético beating them.

Chance creation isn't the issue. Finishing these chances in a lethal way is the issue.

Had enough chances to turn the game in Copa around, but finishing was not good enough.

In the CL game it was even worse. Should at least score one out of all these chances despite all the unfavourable decisions team has no influence in.

Someone needs to do Rapha's job as the most crucial player is missing.
 
Non factor this season. Much much more expected for a player of his caliber and salary.

Certainly took his sweet time coming from injury too.
 
Nah was one of the best players in many of the games.

Pedri this season and last is not the same without him... he the same without Pedri.

Need all the best players.
 
Should have been subbed on way earlier. Better ball control would have meant less chances for one more blunder from the defenders. Couldn't he give 30 minutes of play? I thought he was medically clear.
 
Possibly Flick had one eye on ET and how long could last if went there.

The worst sub was taking Ferrn off.

Absurd and about nothing but Lewas name.
