Well, he gets paid handsomely for being a liability on the pitch while enjoying a month long mid-season vacation only to come back and lift important trophies. So yeh, this beta ain't going no where.

Shame what happened to this guy, Imo he was great for us in his first few seasons, it was nice to see him as a fresh breath of new air but now since the PSG debacle, clearly he has never recovered from that and since then it has only been downhill. He can save some face and leave the club this summer or it will get truly ugly very quickly.
his level been more or less the same ever since he played for us.
But people were more forgiving cause they figured he’d improve.

This dude will dig his heels in... I still don't understand why we extended him? We were afraid we would lose him on a free? Sometimes that option is better, now dude just gives the impression we have a backup CB
Look at the bright side. Stegen and Araujo and we achieve bum free status. We've come a long way.

Balde is not in the same bracket - Kounde straight up dropped out of school and started gangbanging whilst Balde is just an average student trying his best. Was never the next Alves, Marcelo, Alba level player.
Wouldn't put a La Masia kid (even a one trick pony at that) who hit his ceiling in the same category as someone who literally put in the lowest effort possible within the sphere of 'we can't fire him, he upheld his contract'. He even said so yesterday, he gave zero fucks about football this season and Lookman and others still laugh in their sleep about it.
