Literally the only game where both played solid minutes where Pedri had better ratings than Fabian was the final. Which he was better than Fabian that game. He had miles of space and a tiring Argentina so it made sense.

Monte is just going off pure vibes as always.

Pedri was also better than Fabian in Belgium game.

Screw the ratings. Watch that game.

Fabian probably has a better rating because he scored. Think we can both agree that as a midfielder it didn't mean he had a better performance.

Obviously we watched the games.

Ratings are simply bringing in some objectivity to the discussion.

PS goals are a very big part of the game. Especially one you win 2-1 if memory serves
 
Gotta ask yourself a simple question.
Do you think Pedri would be in that spot Fabian was to score that goal.

Answe: unlikely

And that is Fabian starts for now. Despite Pedri being more talent.

Expecting him to have the best season yet of his career.

Finally he has a leader and a physical figure next to him in midfield. His huge defensive tasks will now likely be reduced. We will be able to see his full magic at play.

This is the privilege Vitinha had all these seasons in PSG with Neves. Now let's see...

Also he's 24 now. Gotta start seeing the glimpses of prime Pedri.
