Just give him a tall fast LCB and forget about it. Hansi will cook with him.

Tall and fast isn't a guarantee. Araujo should be perfect for this system but he is far from it.
Araujo has never been an intelligent player. His speed is perfect for a high line since he can adapt to counters quicker, but his low IQ and beta tendencies dont allow it. Some people just cant deal with the pressure.
He'd be much better in a system where the defense sits back and chills, particularly the CBs. Even then he'd make stupid mistakes, just likely less often.

I personally think it would be very dumb to sign a high profile player in defense and then go to next season without a striker and without a proper backup on the wings.
Mainly because this is a offense-oriented system. If we have big problems both with defense and attack, we should prioritize the latter.

Flick knows the correct profile to target. he should be fast, an aerial beast who is aggressive.
With a club like ours with no money, we cant afford to spend willy nilly.

Bastoni in Barça would very quickly become widely accepted best CB on the planet
But I think this is another great decision by Deco, who is honestly doing a fantastic job lately
We need to go big in attack. Buy a striker and winger that we can field in any big game with no fear and regret
CB is also a must, of course. But it doesn't have to be someone who will smash our summer budget by himself
The summer after, then we should go for Bastoni. Unless the low cost CB we bring proves to be perfectly capable for his role
