Andreas Christensen

Andreas Christensen: "My future? There's not much new. I don't have much to share, but I hope I can do it soon. Everyone knows what I want and where I have my head, so I hope everything fits soon."

Se queda?

I see no point in extending him. He won't play more than 5-10 games per season. Maybe if its somehow connected to ffp, then it makes sense, but even then, only on really low wages, or even better on a contract dependant on his playing time.

Atleast from the reports it seems we have added number of games played clause in his new contract. So if he remains injured, atleast we wont be giving away money. And if he is fit, he probably is the 2nd best defender in this team.

There is a high chance, we will consider him as our signing and not reinforce the CB position, which is what I fear will happen. Not Ideal.

Good that he's Staying if he can stay fit and find form, he's the man to play beside cubarsi.

If we keep all our defender's and sign no excluding cancelo. We have the personnel at the back to win the CL, flick has to just find the right combination. It's certainly not what he played last season.

That and making tactical adjustments of course.

You still have hopes??

It honestly would be foolish to start another season without a new LCB. But I guess, Deco will do exactly that.

Mmmmm, no...

With him 30 now, I think it's best we let this one go. Injury problems will only get worse, although with him, I don't see how worse is even possible lol...so even a 1 year extension seems pointless, much less a 2 year, which was rumoured we were ready to give him...although that was a while ago and it's very quiet now on this front (which I don't mind at all) and now with the WC starting, his contract will probably expire before we offer anything...so hopefully we let it rest after the WC too and go for a good left footed CB instead.
