He should have been played when they played simeone and Nico should is best used as a sub

Does he play Messi's position yes. Is he the 2nd or 3rd most talented player in the Argentina squad also yes.

Do you know what you have to do as a coach. Figure out a way to get them both on the field.

This isn't what's his name at roma.

Scaloni hinted he might not renew after the end of the year, I wonder if Pep would consider them after 6 months of focusing on family.

I don't think Pep would consider the Arg. national team nor do I think AFA will offer him a job.

AFA is doing everything that they can to have Scaloni stay, but I think Scaloni fulfilled his duty (to an insanely high degree I might say).

Rather have an emerging coach like Placente to lead the team than Pep.

Pep wouldnt fit to Argentina, i think he is similar to Hansi, he needs to see his players every week to create an unstoppable team.

The one of the Argentines (Stephen "Kiki" Ramos, 17 year old LW) that I am excited about for the future. We have so many young technical left footers in the team and we need a fast, right footed, dribbling winger who has an eye for goal.

Definitely the profile that the national team lacks. One to keep an eye out.

Some reports with argument with Lautaro but who knows.
Also, they looked very strange coming out of the dressing room. Messi saying "forget what happened", few players with teary eyes.

Who knows.
Maybe they and/or their family members were threatened to "do the right thing". The ritualistic aspect of all these sporting and other events that involve ceremonies has surely been way too on the nose in last couple decades.
Here's another summary on all this weirdness.

This kind of article is why nobody take VC seriously

Sometimes they can point out to some really interesting trends in the media and make you think about some shit

Otherwise most of the time it is desperately looking for connections and coincidences... like in this article

"Both wore number 19 at Barca"... for real, what an obvious sign that this was all staged and manipulated by the illuminati

"Final played on July 19th" as if all WC finals except the Qatar one are not played around the same date (10-12 day difference) because they're all in summer

And these other arguments are all shit too. Argentina was bullied by a far superior side on the pitch and they weren't as motivated because they already have a WC and came here with shit attitude. Like they did the whole world cup really, just got lucky several times vs worse opposition.

This is definitely not true.
Well what I wanted to say is that Argentina looked shaky all world cup. Even though they had the attitude to come back and correct themselves every time, like you say. And you are right.

But in the final, I feel their attitude was "It would be nice if we win another but we already achieved massive success here no matter what"

I'm honestly not sure if that was the real attitude, I just think that they were so physically gassed after playing 2 ET and leaving all their emotions vs England that they had no more energy to give. Doesn't help that Spain were incredibly good at retaining possession.

1 week has passed and that defeat still holds me down even though I'm proud and very happy for the Barca boys.

I used to be a huge conspiracy guy and whilst some of it is still valid, it is mixed in with so much nonsense ( maybe intentionally so, ) that only succeeds in taking away the validity from anything that deserves further attention.

For example, I just read a comment from that website that I had to repost here as it didn't half give me shits and giggles.

" And that’s not all. I’m Brazilian, and during the Brazil vs. Scotland match on 06/24/2026, there was a moment when David Beckham was shown on screens worldwide in his box drinking a glass of red wine. It seems like something completely normal. Until you notice that in The Economist magazine, there is a glass of wine spilling with an image of earthquake tremors beneath it. And believe it or not, at that exact moment, Venezuela suffered an earthquake. There are videos on the internet of people recording the Brazil game in Venezuela while their TVs shake. And to top it off, the Venezuela national team is known as La VINOtinto. Is it just a coincidence?? "
