Maybe someone who won the WC, his domestic league and also was voted player of season in his domestic league
Individually, Kane was maybe better than this player overall. But the last few ballon d'or ceremonies have shown collective trophies are the golden standard. So let's not change the standards

You could basically bet on those three and be guaranteed money as long as Kane doesn't win. Bookies won't be this wrong. Kane is winning due to lack of alternatives.

Bookies very often get it wrong. This is how people make money. It's the point of gambling. So I don't know where are your facts. If you want to argue Kane deserves the ballon d'or, those are facts.
It's okay to expect Kane to win. He is one of the more serious candidates. But he is not the clear favourite nor does he deserve it the most. And I think he is not going to win it either.
There is literally no other clear alternative.

I have argued with arguments why Lamine deserves it the most.
He had a great club season + solid world cup and he is one of the biggest superstars of world football right now.
Maybe if it was Messi or Cristiano having the Kane season, we would have a different conversation. But that's not the case.
This is the way ballon d'or works. Again, Kane was probably better individually but that doesn't mean he is winning. Lamine was better than Dembele individually.
Kane is still a very good candidate and he is likely going to be second. But he is not clear favourite.

Yamal wasn’t better than Dembele individually. Dembele had multiple great performances when it mattered and managed to go all the way with his team. Also had final product.

Lamine absolutely did not have a better season than Kane whose season was an anomaly.
I don't think even Lamine himself thinks he deserves it this year. In a year where there is no player representative of the big collective titles like WC and CL the winner will be the one who was an individual outlier.
Odds for Lamine are good. You should bet.

I said in both of my last posts that Kane was better individually.
But there is obviously more to it than that. Lamine was better than Dembele individually and Dembele won because of his UCL.
Like I said thank you for the information. I am a little surprised Kane is favoured that much. He did have the best individual season and that by far. But that does not mean he is winning the ballon d'or.
Ballon d'or is not an award given to best performing player of the season. At least not anymore. Maybe the bookies forgot. That's good.
And even though I am firmly against betting because it destroys lives and families... this should be easy money in principle.
