Xavi Pascual is close to leave for Dubai, Laporta will meet with him today and try to convince him to stay.
Catalan media is reporting we are considering Željko Obradović if Xavi will leave. Would be a fantastic hire but don't buy it. Other, more realistic target is Ibon Navarro, current coach of Unicaja Malaga and we are also linked to a former Monaco coach Vassilis Spanoulis.
There will surely also be a lot of changes in the squad after another disappointing season though ofc we still have Liga ACB playoffs starting next week ahead of us.
In a more positive news our youth team has won next gen Euroleague beating Real Madrid in the final. Some good players there though likes of Keita and Boumtje Boumtje are already confirmed to leave (and more players will do the same over next year or two) and play in NCAA next season where they'll earn millions from NIL money.
