What is your ideal realistic Barca starting lineup for next season when everyone is fit?
Mine:

(signings: Alvarez, Bastoni, Ansu back from loan)

LW: Raphinha
ST: Alvarez
RW: Yamal
CAM: Gavi
CM: Pedri
CM: De jong
LB: Cancelo
CB: Bastoni
CB: Cubarsi
RB: Eric Garcia
GK: Joan Garcia

Bench: Ferran, Fermin, Olmo, Ansu, Kounde, Martin, Bernal, Roony...

And while I feel two high profile signings like Julian and Bastoni are not so realistic, the reports say it's what the club aims for. If not, then I would say Senesi in place of Bastoni
 
I would sell Kounde, Balde, Casado, and Araujo. I wouldn’t offer new contracts to Lewandowski, Christensen, or Rashford. That would already free up a huge amount of space on the wage bill, and we could raise over €100 million from transfers.

I would keep Cancelo, and whichever two full-backs replacements we bring in would likely be better than what we have now. For a striker, I wouldn’t spend more than €90 million. Mika Godts from Ajax doesn’t look like a bad option as a winger replacement.

EDIT:
Kounde + Balde + Casado + Araujo + Lewandowski + Christensen + Rashford = €75 million in wages
Cancelo €9M + ST €20M + RB and LB €20M + LW €9M + CB €12M = €70 milion

Come on Anderson Luiz de Souza, hire me.

I think people have far too high expectations about this summer window. Going by the wishes of many here it seems Barca will have a rebuild this summer. Likes of Kounde, Balde, Araujo, Raphinha, Olmo are being discussed about getting sold but Barca rarely do that to that many senior players at once, at most one of them leaves to generate some income.

It is fun to fantisize about an FM-esque window where we sell for 150-200m and reinvest it smartly, but it's just not realistic. We do need fresh blood however. CL is not going to come by itself.
 
We can field a team that is on paper 2nd best to only PSG. But we absolutely need the main 5 heavy hitters fit. This means Lamine, Raph, Pedri, De Jong, and Garcia. This means a combination of luck and accepting the possibility of a botched league season due to rotations.

A complicated affair. Our problem wasn't only that our squad lacks depth, but that 2 of the main 4 field players weren't there for the big fights.
 
2nd to PSG is a very big stretch, we shipped 4 goals to atleti this season and got knocked out by them in the CL

We are in a group of teams behind PSG, but not clearly 2nd.

We did because we were missing half of our best players. The discussion is us at our best.

We also shipped 7 to a inter team that lost against every top team they faced that air in serie A and got embarrassed in the final

We aren't clearly better than everyone's else in Europe not named PSG.

We are in that group of 4-6 teams and can feel confident facing any of the though

And Inter finished 2nd in league phase. They suckerpunched many better sides. Including Bayern. Beat Arsenal also that season.

And mostly because of our own stupidity. You can't really compare Barca to anytning drom EPL. We view EV Barca that 3-0ed Liverpool as a weak one inside the fanbase. It's levels here.

Exactly because we in amongst those games and not clearly better than them.

I personally think we would beat arsenal but we aren't miles clear of them either.

Would have fancied Barca to beat Arsenal.

The difference with PSG is mainly their full backs and number of 1v1 threats have.

Stretch the whole pitch for them.

Look at PSGs midfield v Bayern.. they were fairly poor and bypassed.

Barca cant do that.

PSG have more strings to bow and can win in many ways but they wouldnt hammer Barca the way some make out either.

Not a single top player in our backline. We need to fix this.
A fullback and a CB of top quality is required.

Torres.

I don't know how he's gonna make raphinha at 10 work.

Fermin can get it as well for Gordon.
 
Gavi at more DM of a two wont work unless he gets a lot better and more progressive on ball and stops chasing everything that moves.

Saw it again v Valencia.

First goal he gets ball in space to drive at them... turns back and pings ball 40 yd to CB.

The second goal he miss placed pass and lost it.. over commited to try and win it add got dribbled past.

Got dribbled past in build up to third also.

That game was clear sign of what needs to improve on.
