This team will be one injury away (raphinha or yamal) from dropping massively in attack. Squad is great but extreamly thin in attack and certainly not injury-proof. Amazingly our only addition is an above average (when fit) striker who is also injury prone. Stunning

Cuba injury too. Imagine counting on Chrissy to stay fit, Kounde anywhere or Martin.

Have we confirmed our Mercado closed?

We might be confirming all departures before filing in the LCB.
It's the hope that kills you. We're done. Only Casado straight loan to Deportivo (we probably won't even get a loan fee) official announcement left.

Belgian club Royal Antwerp Football Club and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Álvaro Cortés. FC Barcelona reserve the right to a percentage of a future sale. "

I will never count us out of any game with Don Flick at the wheel, but whatever we win is going to be heavily reliant on Flick and even moreso La Masia.

It's only a matter of time before Christensen and Jesus are injured again, so Espart, Bernal, Hamza and potentially a LCB from La Masia are all going to have to step up beyond what we should really be asking from them at such a young age.

Giving the Sporting Department any credit for the window is short sighted when you realise they have only succeeded in plugging small holes and left the plugging of the big holes up to others.

Over to you La Masia and Don Flick.

Best of luck. :bartomeu:

This transfer window showed me how badly Diego Torres stock has fallen in the last 10 or so years now.

Despite his Real Madrid slant, he use to have some good sources throughout spain. Now looking at his X account feels like he's wish casting and trying to pass off that as news.

He talked about a few days ago that he was told by PSG sources/agents that Lamine be on the summer market.

Feels like him and many others were completely broken by the idea of lamine a Spanish superstar who plays for Barcelona and not for Real.

- Expect Alvarez - get a broken Arsenal reject
- Expect a CB - get none and let one go
- Expect a fullback - have to convert a Masia midfielder
- "Negotiate" for Rodri only to pay what is asked
- Get a Dortmund reject.

To sweeten it: pay entirety of wages for Stegen and Casado.

Well done on getting Gordon at a market price though.

Expect Flick to do miracles again. And he probably will.

Deco's exchange with angry Barca fan :

Deco : " Qué mirra bobo? "

Fan with a suspiciously similar appearance to @Draconifire " No striker, centre back or right back. What's the plan now Leco? '

" Qué? Centre what? The plan is we go for Julian again in January. #JanuaryJulian. "

" And what if they don't sell us Julian in January, like they have already told us they will never sell him to Barca for the last 2 months? ".

" Then we try again in 2028. What's the rush hermano? Be patient and let me cook. "

" And what about if they don't sell in 2028? ".

" Laporta, what year does that cono Alvarez's contract finish? ". :benitez:
