Despite his Real Madrid slant, he use to have some good sources throughout spain. Now looking at his X account feels like he's wish casting and trying to pass off that as news.

He talked about a few days ago that he was told by PSG sources/agents that Lamine be on the summer market.

Feels like him and many others were completely broken by the idea of lamine a Spanish superstar who plays for Barcelona and not for Real.

Its hopeless anyways. Just be content that we got Jesus and get your body ready for the January saga of Alvarez, which will eventually culminate in him staying in ATM again, while we don't get anyone else at the end.

I actually think we might do some business - we'll see how our defense holds up and an opportunity might present itself for a player that Flick would like (whether it would be a forward, midfielder or defender). We might also try to sell Balde if he doesn't show up and invest the money in a defender.

I dont think so man.
Most Jan transfers happen due to pressing needs, such as an injury crisis or a contract ending.
Not many teams want to do business because it's hard to get a replacement player. And if a player is doing well, then the team wont want to lose him in the middle of the season.

So, its much more likely the available players are subpar, or we overpay a lot. Except in a contract-ending situation.

This is why I think Panachelli could be had. But I have no confidence in us that we will pursue him.

Regarding Balde, I have a feeling that if he doesnt level up and stays a bench player, there is a high chance he could leave for ManU this Jan. They also didnt get a LB, and if their season is going shit, they might be desperate for one. And we can milk it.
 
Actually it's not that bad of a situation we'll probably win La Liga because we have no real competition, and maybe the Copa del Rey too I'm actually okay with that. But when it comes to the Champions League, we just have to come to terms with the fact that we're probably not winning it for the next 2-3 years without a decent defense.
