A competent Sporting Director could get nice money for Kounde, Balde, Araujo, Casado, Ferran and invest in new players but with Deco probably nothing meaningful happens in the summer again. Those guys are not bad, they are good players but just not elite ones. A serious club could get at least 150-170 mil for those 5. Let Lewa, Christensen and Rashford go and we would get a nice budget for new players if Laporta ever gets us to 1:1. It's nice to dream but it will stay a dream. We'll extend Lewa and maybe buy/loan one CB and call it a day. Hope they at least won't buy Trashy.

Nice if true. Decent option.
Atleast it's a profile that has advantages to us.

Sørloth plays for a big club and is clutch. Both for Atletico and his national team. Will probably do better, just like Alvarez, at a different club with a more attacking style. Comparing him to those journeymen is an insult. This is the guy that scored 4 goals against RM with Villarreal and keeps being a pain in the ass for us.
 
Bastoni or another CB need to be priority #1. We aren't winning the Champions League with that backline, no matter how stacked our attack is.

These are ridiculous arguments

Plays for a big club? Seriously? Why the hell does that matter? Some of the big clubs employ footballers far below the level of even midtable teams

Clutch? We are now signing players because they are "clutch"?

RM is 100 times better selling their players.
They get shitloads of money selling their avarage players.
Our players run out their contracts and leave on free transfer..
 
what do you guys think about oyarzabal as a low-coast option for the striker ? he knows the league and all the spanish players. has has a decent finish and is pretty clinical, and has good link up play. but he lacks the aerial presence of a big striker. he might be what we thought ferran is.

Vuskovic is best rated defender in Bundesliga. He will likely become one of the most expensive defenders in history.
