pre-season is always the worst time in this forum, when the Madrid rats crawl out of their holes where they had been hiding during the season out of shame, to start shittalk again. I just hope Hansi fucks them again, so they disappear until next summer again.

Their stadium is an ugly ass toilet seat that is squeezed in between blocks of houses like a failed landing of an alien ship, makes life of every neighbor miserable by violating noise level regulations and their poorly thought out parking garage that is barely keeping the grass alive.

Nah the grass is still terrible. Just give it a few match days and compare it to the camp nou.

Was awful in 2023 and just average now at most. Come nowhere close to the camp nou pitch.

That is not a 'sound issue'.. and more to it than just the sound as to why concerts been cancelled.

. It is not a stadium weakness compared to Camp Nou or other stadiums in comparison.

There are a ton of seats in Camp Nou that a are shitty views also.. too far under cover or down low with space to the pitch.

Both will be held up as top class when Camp Nou finished in different ways.

Cant be having Spurs stadium being pointed to as better due to it being more comfy. There is a lot to be said for Barca and Real having state of the art stadiums and in design true to what had before.

Best stadiums in EPL for actual fans to go and enjoy football at carry the history with them also. Same in Spain.
 
Madrid can't keep concerts in a stadium built in the middle of a city due to sound population.

Sound pollution and also many other reasons.. but not comparable to other stadiums in areas not as built up.

That doesnt make it a stadium weakness and not comparable to many other stadiums locations.

All stadiums have issues.. Camp Nou included but they are two of the best going when Barcas is complete.

Despite Barca have a lot of shit seats they have had a lot of complaints over.

Comparing either to Spurs... not for me.

As said know folk who have been at Bernabeu and said its best been at outwith WC/USA... for atmosophere, seats, state of art.

Give me evidence, 2026 evidence. You can`t. Because grass is fine. Yeah, compare it to fully exposed pitch due to stadium under construction, operating at reduced usage, enjoying weather in Catalonia.

That is not sound issue, considering Stadium is otherwise fully operational. Besides, its being dealt with. Besides, if you think Flo built stadium around concerts, then you are a ...well... It`s obvious. :pep:

One of the pillars of the stadium built was the ability to host concerts. Something it currently can't do.

That's the entire reason for the retractable pitch, which then leads to poor grass quality and you lot can't even host them now 😂.

So poor is the pitch you have to be using paint to hide the hideous joint lines where the individual parts of the stadium meet. (Google it)

Are you trying to tell me and anyone else that watched Madrid games 25/26 season the pitch wasn't coming up in large chunks? Lol.


A partially complete camp nou is better than a fully completed bernabeu.


This is a $1000 experience so not typically for most, none the less this is in a partially completed camp nou.

I will disgrace the camp nou by including it in a debate vs that dog shit stadium no longer.

Great for NFL games though

No. Concerts are just one type of events. The general idea of Bernabeu is to become multipurpose arena. Which has been achieved. And concerts will soon follow up.

It's a shame there is passion like this in Barcelona but they never enter the stadium because they can't afford the tickets.

If we take the animation stand away, we have basically sold out to the dollar the same way English clubs have.

Hopefully it will change and we will have cheap tickets for passionate fans when the stadium is fully built, but I doubt it.
 
There was passion but they killed it decades ago with expensive tickets, banning Boixos Nois and making tourists a priority. We can be happy Laporta finally at least let Grada back in but even they have problems filling out that miniature sector they have, hope that gets better with time.

Much more than the ones making a lot of noise.

Too many old fans/families who have had the same seats for years and think the club owe them something.
 
Natural passion of a crowd is x100 times better than paid 1000 actors to wave flags or dress in same color.

And by that I mean the ordinary people who get excited. Boixos Nois were never a factor.

I know Catalans/Barca has a problem with Franko, but he made Spain Spain and his alternatives were anarchists/communists, which were way worse. That's what's left after they banned the passionate fans decades ago. That together with tourist means the atmosphere is what it is. At least it's improving, it was much better second half of last season with Grada's return compared to the graveyard Montjuic without them. The club should help them attract more people in their groups with reasonable ticket prices.
 
First team dressing room nearly finished and will probably be presented at Gamper.
