CL Quarter Final: Barca - Atletico 0-2

Man, I have to say I doubt we’ll come back in the second leg. But I hope they just play well enough to know that we could do it. There’s a small part of me that says we have it in us to be able to come back from this, I mean last season we came back from 0-2 down and managed to score 4 goals and win 4-2 in 27 minutes in the Metropolitano, this time we have 90 minutes to turn it around instead of 27 minutes.
 
They’ll mess with the pitch so we’ll see frustrating passing.

It’s a shame. Think we did decent against them. They had 3 shots on goal. Unfortunate they scored on FK and poor defending by Martin on the second. The other shot was at keeper.

Olmo especially after with 10 looked to have cement in shoes. Wasn’t running into correct positions. Gassed.

Lost first leg at home 0-2. Frenkie started team training and should be ready for this game. Cubarsi will miss the game due to the red card. Rapha, Bernal and Christensen are injured. Frenkie rejoined the team training and should be ready.

So Barca officially filed a complaint at UEFA due to serious referee mistakes and demands a detailed examination, disclosure of referee communication and then possibly official acknowledgment of the mistakes and taking appropriate actions. - I wonder what "appropriate actions" means... In UEFA's dictionary most likely: nothing.
 
it’s gonna be same desperation shit in 2nd leg we often see from Barca in ucl’s past: Have a lot of possession, create a few attacks, then get fuked on the one or two counter chances the other team gets.

I love how confident some of you are about remontada. We will need to score at least 4 goals given how terrible our backline is. Atleti will definitely score at least one goal.

Still think our best shot was last year. All we had to do is time waste by the corner flag. However, we most definitely would lose to PSG by a 3 goal margin (not 5 :ROFLMAO: )

In the first leg Atletico barely created anything before the red

Even after the red. Literally nothing

Same in the league game. Bar the goal they didn't have many chances at all

Cubarsi will be out in this game but we can hope we will have the same level of stability we had in these 2 games

With, of course, a little bit more precision in finishing our own chances
 
Referee Istvan Kovacs has been dropped by UEFA for the rest of the CL season. Pffff, prolly wouldn't have got another game anyways.
