this kind of hatred is not even healthy. theres nothing in here to particulary get mad about. A lot of that is clearly in line wih human nature, especially of a competitive athlete.
perspectives changing(on leagues abroad), coping(World Cup) -- which is normal, or context/situational: He probaby did not feel like crediting Messi for his career here, bu he could absolutely appreciate that aspect of his prowess when sitting next to him at a Gala. Same for the 1000 goals remark.
