The scripted redemption arc is not happening. Cristiano walked out on his teammates because he was unused sub in a game. And he's going 42 in 5 months. His decline is snowballing right in front of our eyes. In Jorge Jesus's mind he called up Cristiano as an idol/mascot figure. And that was his final game for Portugal. Worst player on the pitch, in his team - by far.

Actually wasn't annoyed by Portugal winning for once although i almost always root for Denmark. Seems to have much better chemistry without this oaf and even players i didn't like before seemed more likeable just because no guilt by association and more beautiful play. The guy is the embodiment of decay and degeneracy of West in one person. :lol:
