those 2 cl final defeats have severely traumatised them. They are back in CL though. Carrick has done a good job.

He isnt shite but makes a lot of mistakes and also would be moving Cubarsi to LCB which does make a difference to him on ball.
At another time maybe if choices sparse but for now when have more options surely go for LCB that can compliment Cubarsi more.
Think he would be better off at another big club where defends box more than Barca.

Tall, athletic, experienced and in prime, on top of being free. That's why folks want him.
Same with VDV, tall athletic left footed CB who can run with the ball, and folks love the idea of having him.

Araujo is tall, athletic and in his prime.
Liverpool fans are largely glad to see back of him and arguing whether had a 4 and a half poor years or 4.
He is better than Araujo and should get decent move but he is big, athletic and error prone more often than not at Liverpool.
Cant play LCB either which is what Barca need.

People want him because they want a CB and don’t see an obvious and attainable move on the market.
He’s obviously got quality and would be an improvement on what we have but I doubt the fit.

Konate was excellent before this season started.
Been horrendous this season and has constant brainfarts which is why we aren't too mad that he's leaving.
Before this season, he was so good.
Tall, fast, strong, excellent ball winner, aggressive, great in the air and decent/good enough on the ball.
Asking for too much money though.
