Says a lot about the club, its fanbase and player to reject one of your own who outperformed even the newly acquired players

English fans largely have to kneel before foreign ownership, coaches & players - the culture is imported for the Brexiters

I empathize with why the ManYoo academy product is so happy, he's at a club with a unique culture
You try far too hard to sound like you have a clue what talking about and come out with utter nonsense time and again.

What are you talking about?

Rashford was bang average and inconsistent af for United. Cunha and Mbeumo have been way better so far.

Read the Redcafe threads. They LOVED him. More than you guys love Yamal. They showed way too much loyalty to him. They used to compare him to Mbappe. He let the club down. The club gave him way too much leeway.
Head to head stats alone between a club that won two trophies, including the league title, vs 3rd place club with zero titles. One is average while the other wasn't even a starter yet outperformed most people's expectations - no one believed he'd end up with the numbers he has so far. Not English or ManYoo fans much less cules - he was largely seen as a desperate move

They don't love him on the caf, some do but largely they are deluded in only thinking about money and deride the player/person over & over - as if they have any say/control over what their American owned club do with the money. Rashford is an academy player, it's a remarkable story - I mean 100% propaganda against player that extended to pundits & English media

They love him more than we love Lamine? :ROFLMAO:

United fans are more loyal to their players and managers than Barca/Real fans. It's not even close.

Barca and Real fans turn on their own players much more easily.

Ofcourse they don't like him NOW. They used to love him like he's family for ages. You can look at all the old CAF threads on him.

Him doing well as 4th choice for Barca doesn't make his United career great.

The English media and pundits loved him and defended him for ages. They overrated him so much that rival fans would just laugh at it. If you watched the PL at the time you'd know. He was extremely inconsistent, lazy and never got United closer to trophies.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree. But United is simply a cunt club, that deserves it. I just hope it won't repeat in Barcelona, if we sign him in the end.
I hate United more than any of you do but they aren't a cunt club to their players

if anything, they are way too nice to their players and managers and constantly coddle and overpay them.

I am not talking about loyalty, sadly we have a lot of emotionally labile fans but no less erratic than the English

Even before he did well at Barça, caf would've loved to have not just seen the back of him but more so if he fell flat on his face rather than do well. You're conveniently ignoring the hatchet job in media about his last couple of seasons being down to him rather than the mess that is the American owned PR entity known as ManYoo. The club binned the player as well - imagine Laporta et al hounding a legendary player from La Masia in this manner? Not even remotely possible

BTW, another win for Barça - TAT comes to RM and sits at home for WC, Rashford comes to Barça and is going to cuckoo land

He made up a theory that Rashford was unfairly treated by United and the English media even if it was the complete opposite. He was for years overrated and overhyped by English media while being severly overpaid by the club. He tries to picture Rashford as a noble professional but media and the club supposedly turned against him without any legit reason.

The difference is that we aren't relying on him as a key player so we can choose the situations we need him in and he'll contribute more that way.

United don't need him back because they have a very good front 3, that's essentially the bottom line. He takes up a large salary and he doesn't want to return, he's happy here, so it makes sense for both of them to part ways.

Anyone can see, however, one of the problems they had with him, which is the off the ball work. I don't agree with what people are saying that he was bad for United, he had 3 very good seasons, and under Ten Hag even carried them, but one of the things that has always been pointed out is his lack of pressing and aggression off the ball.

He doesn't defend and it makes it difficult to include him as a constant starter in a team that wants to press high. Regarding his work on the ball, nothing to add, it is very acceptable.

It's a complex situation. There were very high expectations on him whilst United was in transition and undergoing some behind the scenes turmoil, and people were disappointed that he didn't meet those.

Because he isn't some superstar, and Temptation is right, they used to call Rashford as a future Ballondor, Mbappe level player, at that time United fans were lacking hope.

And of course they'll be disappointed and end up turning against him because they expected too much.

Here he is just one more in the dressing room which I think will raise his performance significantly. He doesn't feel the same weight to have to contribute when he is behind very good attackers. He even mentioned this and said he thinks it's easier for him because people don't care as much if he doesn't perform.

Why? What did United do?
Being a pathetic chaos club since Fergie left, throwing brainlessly money around, making it literally impossible for many players feeling comfortable or get used to a playstyle.
I don't defend Rashford's behaviour, he was lazy and ungrateful, but if a club deserves that players return the favor, it's them. They created this atmosphere in the first place.

Bruno has been impeccable since day 1 and still is. Truly great players can still shine in mediocre teams.

We don't know what happened behind the scenes tbh.
Maybe Rashford is disloyal sob, but maybe Manu were making his life hell at the end in hope to get rid of him.
Amorim was surely an asshole who cared about looking like the alpha guy rather than actual coaching.

You can read what happened with Mkhitaryan there under Mourinho. Or how Sevilla's Monchi physically assaulted Isco to force him out.

There is a lot of shit that happens that we don't know of, maybe Rashford suffered that, or maybe he is a guy who loves to play the victim.

With the World Cup being in Trumpland even an England squad made out of League Two players has a strong chance of VARwinning it all.
Why? In football they think we are one of their rivals and Trump hates the current UK government.

Makes you wonder if the whole Rogers thing was just to put the frighteners up Bellingham and humble him a bit. He is clearly the superior player, but Tuchel doesn't seem to appreciate his personality at times.

Either way his "we will bring a Premier League intensity to the tournament" nonsense will no doubt see us crash out against Mexico or something.

Livramento - who has barely been fit all season and has been poor when fit - has pulled out of the squad injured so Tuchel has replaced him with a Chalobah, a CB.

Now the fullback options in the squad are James (injury risk), Spence (relegation battler) and O'Reilly (not a LB).

If this retard is not sacked the moment we go out in the R16 the FA might as well just give up on international football.

Jude Bellingham is a generational talent and has every tool to be an all time great. He was a Barca fan during his childhood just like Modric was. Just like him and Kroos, we missed a generational talent and bought ourself Olmo and Ferran Torres with that money.
Last match confirmed what I’ve always thought about him. He had the most tackles in the field, he is a match winner, has absolutely elite technique, peak athleticism, mentality and physique. There is literally no weakness in his game. None at all. Him, Pedri and one destroyer/anchor would have been our base for a decade or so.
