He was scoring "for fun" (an entirely normal goalscoring frequency, elevated by people's shock from the fact he scored at all) at beginning of the season.

He was quiet from January up until Atletico 2nd leg. He got his form back way too late.

And yeah, he is certainly not getting replaced. And this Gordon transfer probably should make him happy. If we signed someone like Alvarez, Ferran would get minutes only when he is injured. Now he will likely get A LOT of minutes at 9 while Gordon shifts to the wing.
 
I mean, it is not problem if he stays. He deserves renew.

But as sub role.

If he is first striker we will not win CL like 12 times in a row.
 
He doesn't even need hair transplant. Seems they grow on him out of nowhere naturally. Sign of future dominance.

I would not do that swap.

Ferran about to score 5 goals this world cup and come back full of confidence next season.
 
Dont think Barcola would want us. He isnt a clear starter here, same situation as with PSG. And he will demand quite a high wage.

Probably bullshit rumour.
Though, I would get him instead of Rashy, as his wage still might be significantly lower than Rashy's

Trusting Ferran being our only striker into the season would be a mistake. So far he didn't have one consistent season with us. Even if his scorers are okay, he has weeks or months where he doesn't hit absolute sitters game after game and these periods can lose you the entire season.

Flick said we need someone who knows how to score goals after Lewandowski's departure. I expect another striker this window. Just the question if an expensive starting striker or someone like Muriqi for depth and tactical options.

That’s what I meant, I’m okay with trusting Ferran as the first option and signing another guy for depth.

Muriqi’s gone though. Fener got him.

Over the last 2 seasons he was instrumental in our success

This forum has lost the plot, mainly driven be recency bias. Ferrbum scores 2-3 goals at the tail end of the season and suddenly he's in contention for WC top goalscorer
