Maybe biggest dark horse for the WC for me

People forget in Euros, they were only behind Spain. The tournament was decided by that Merino header which sent Spain to SF. Otherwise Germans win. Germans had many chances to knock them out

Musiala and Wirtz coupled with several tricky forwards (like Undav, Woltemade, Havertz) could be dangerous.

Then Pavlovic, Kimmich, Stiller, Rudiger, Schlotterbeck, Neuer.

And ofc a good coach

I really hope Neuer fails and Nagelsmann will be burned in Germany for his weak ass decision to bring a 40 year old keeper back after his NT retirement. He spat in the face of Baumann and for what?
Because Neuer had one decent game in Madrid? He didn't play a good season, even Bayern fans admit it. Nearly nobody can understand Nagelsmann's decision here. Just missing Gündogan, Kroos and Müller.

If he plays a good tournament on the other hand, he'll be praised. He took unnecessarily a big risk here.

Many people didnt want to see Kai in Germany's squad but guy has now 2 goals in 2 cl finals. He has an incredible left foot, cpuld be faster though

4th player to score 2 goals in CL final for 2 teams , after Mandzukic (Bayern and Juve), Ronaldo (United and Madrid), Velibor Vasovic (Ajax and Partizan).

Impressive win from Germany vs Finland, 4-0, Undav with 2 goals and 1 assist. Hope Nagelsmann finally understand that he needs to start, most dangerous offense player for Germany. Karl was also top.

Yeah Kai is in topform now, also scored another goal but offside. He will be the superstar of Germany in this WC26.

Watch out for Angelo Stiller who is a great passer of the ball and very intelligent. Kroos suggested him to RM as his own replacement. One of my favourite players rn.

They have Kimmich, Pavlovic and Wirtz all of whom will be good playmakers/chance creators in their own way.

Germany with Nagelsmann are really strong off the ball.
Their CB partnership is very well balanced with Schlotterbeck and Tah.

@Temptation

Experience plays a big role on international football, and non of Stiller or Pavlovic have it tbh. Their CB pair is decent, but nothing more in comparison to other contenders.

They don't have a single area of strength over other contenders. They didn't overachieve as a team since 2002 or something (they were the best team on 2014, and one of the best in 2010 and 2006).

It will be something if they win this time tbh. It would be bigger achievement for Nagelsmann than Scaloni in 2022.

So is Nagelsmann gone?
Can't be anything else. He's burned in Germany now and has even less credit than Flick had. But Völler should leave as well, as he personally stood behind Nagelsmann all this time. They need a complete reset after 12 years of constant failing.

Best thing they can do is convince Klopp to take over. He's currently the only one capable to turn the downfall around. In the post-match interview, he didn't sound entirely opposed to the idea.

Tbh, i think he will stay until EURO except Kloppo would say he would coach Germany. Terrible coach.

With Gnabry and Karl this team would have been much stronger. You cant win big things with Sane, Kai and Goretzka.

Even Wirtz was crap.

Would have loved to see France vs Germany :/

Problem is, if they decide to keep him, they will lose many fans for one, for two he couldn't work in peace, but would be under immense pressure even in friendly games and the ones deciding to keep him would also risk their position. Rational thoughts tell me, he's gone 100%, no matter how Klopp decides.
