I am happy woth flick overall. he has build a really formidable team with a mixture of good and mediocre players.

First leg we conceded 1 chance which was Sorloth goal

In second leg we conceded like 2-3 serious chances at best

Why frame it like that? Mistake is 1. Catching red is different.

And yea, exceptation can definitely be that team doesnt catch 2 reds in consecutive CL games.

Last season it didnt happen.

He can't setup the defense, so you think his defense was the problem here in this tie

Tell me how if we conceded this little chances ? Tell me how if we missed 2-3 sitters in both games ? If we got a red card in both games in situations where player wouldn't go on to score

If we get some big reinforcements we could beat both. But with this team they can give us 3 segunda sides until final and we will probably give away a red card and a pen in every game and miss 50 chances. That's just the way it is right now
 
Can't be blamed for Cubarsi and Garcia being Dumb and Dumber but the Ferran-Lewa sub destroyed any hope of us coming back.. if that was a token sub for Lewa, tonight was NOT the time for that shit.
 
The Lewa - ferran sub is a big mistake of his part. Didn't understand this sub.

Rashford sub too. Fermin was great.

De jong sub was too late too.

So not great coaching today :/

But it's the defense who let us down this tie, and two individual player precisely.

Mistakes in the line, from the Midfield & defenders led to the red cards. Especially in the first leg.

With more caution when those mistakes happen,attackers aren't 1v1 with the keeper.

Which opens up multiple cans of worms.

What's the big issue with admitting the line leads to issues in these type of games.

Jesus Christ, no need to run defense for something so obviously true.

We aint winning against Bayern or PSG with this defensive style. Imagine Dembele and co. making runs behind our defence. It will be a blood bath on camp nou.

Defense was the problem all season long.

Other big teams would concede more chances but they would be low quality chances. We concede super high quality chances every fucking game.

I don't care about the season. Because we won the league. And I don't really give a fuck for the cup

This match is what defined our season. If we won here, this season would likely have potential to be better than last one. Now it is definitely worse

In these 2 matches, our poor individual quality in the defensive department screwed us, along with shit finishing.
 
Flick needs 4 fast and intelligent defenders for his tactic to work in international top games. He doesn't have a single one. Can't expect him to make miracles, which he basically still did by establishing a system, that makes most of our mediocre players, that played EL with Xavi looking really good and made them domestic title farmers.
People who take our offensive power for granted, don't understand it goes hand in hand with our defensive risk. Yes, it's suboptimal for CL against fast pace teams, but it gives us a big advantage for the league title, that is the most honest and important one.

Zero budget, zero transfers. Show me one coach, who would guarantee titles with these conditions. He has an impossible task with the CL, don't forget where we come from with Xavi.
