He is a nice guy in person but his ego on the pitch is huge and often ends up costing his teams.

Coaches will always say good about their players. Lucho has no reason to say anything other than this now that he left and stir up controversy.

Tactically, Lucho is definitely glad Mbappe left to Madrid. And he also said that they are better off without him

Because they never replaced Kroos and/or Modric. They don't have a single tempo controlling technician in midfield.

Also, they have a crap defense with declining oldies and incompetent newbies.

Add Rodri or Stiller to this team and the whole system changes.
 
So many excuses for apparently best footballer in the world

Two trophyless seasons and it has nothing to do with him being rock bottom at every pressing stat for top 5 leagues

But we can excuse his time at Real. His time at PSG is not excusable. It's his own ego that stopped him from achieving huge things with a great manager like Lucho. They didn't have Neves and Pacho yet but Lucho could absolutely make it work if he had Kylian by his side.

Ah yes, the Americans who only started watching football a few weeks ago love Haaland. But plenty of Americans also love Trump, so popularity alone doesn't say much.

Besides, charisma isn't the same as being intelligent or genuinely nice. In an era where every major athlete has a PR team carefully managing their public image, it's hard to judge someone's real personality from interviews or social media. And ultimately, why does it even matter whether a footballer is smart? They're judged by how well they kick not by their IQ or public persona.

Because one day you'll realize the difference between individual brilliance which mostly comes from the player and collective success or failure which mostly stems from the upper management and board more so than any individual.

Kvara, Neves, Pacho, Doue are massive signings for this PSG system. Without these players PSG don't win the CL. Kvara, Neves and Pacho are essential nailed on starters of the new PSG spine.

Also not a single mention of Luis Campos here?

It doesn't matter more than actual performances on the pitch obviously but it's always good to see the big names be good role models. It won't affect us adults but many impressionable kids look up to these athletes and idolize them so a good public persona is always a big positive.

I don't think PSG wins everything with Mbappe, cause Mbappe does what he wants, whenever.

He chooses whether he wants to press, and that would affect their game. I don't think they defend well against Bayern Munich and Arsenal as a team if they had Mbappe instead of Dembele. If you watch the Munich game, you'll see that Dembele was tasked with following Pavlovic, and he did that, and Mbappe won't.

Individually, he's more talented, but as a Unit, I think PSG without him is more compact and better.
 
Finishing is not Mbappe’s problem. His problem is that he doesn’t affect the game when he’s not scoring. He’s fully turned into his idol Ronaldo.
 
He has had plenty managers who know how to win and still the best he managed at club level is ligue 1 and french mcdonalds cups
 
I rarely dislike a player this much.

I dont care if he scores the most ucls goals or win the pichichi, i just hope he goes completely trophyless for another season.
