This is the first time since 2018-19 that both Barcelona and Madrid won their first 3 LaLiga games of the season. Crazy how long it has been since then, we are now talking about 8 years ago. It’s more surprising considering Barcelona and Madrid have made up the top 2 for 7 of the past 8 seasons.

The same thing happened last season.
10 clubs were 2–3 points above the relegation zone and at the same time 2–3 points away from securing a European spot.

Racing sold Gustavo Puerta to Olympiacos. @Jamque They did make some good signings though. Last one is Pablo Garcia from Betis.
Depor had arguably the best TW in La Liga but OTOH I'm "worried" about Malaga. Elche too though they've bought some defensive players (and Lemar) today but will sell Affengruber to Arbeloa.
Still not sure what to think about Sevilla. They've bought another striker and a winger today but are still thin in midfield and lack quality in defense.

As they should, Depor in CL back sounds right. Also love the addition of Racing, we need more big historic clubs instead of Leganes and shit like that.
They lost their other midfielder to Real Madrid too.
Still Pablo Garcia is a solid and surprising get.
Team will struggle, but should stay up.

Betis and Villarreal made 16M & 15M signings. Those are CL sides btw.

I missed those two but even so nothing spectacular.
Campionato has already been spending more in recent years, and if Primera's decline continues we will end up in 5th place.

70M net spend, remarkable transfer window despite not landing any of the 3 main priorities going into the window of Striker, LCB & RB
Curious what the strategy will be in January since its fairly established next summer will be difficult to acquire any big signings due to returning to Montjuic & consequent loss of 1:1 FFP

Next summer a lot will hang on the amount of loss, the money we save this season, if any. That will decide if we are 1:1 or not. It will be clearer with the amount of increase in ffp from last season to this one.
If we don't get 1:1, then sales will play huge part of the window. Would Araujo attract EPL money? Can we work a buyout with Ter Stegen? Any of your youngsters gets sold? Casado, Farinas, Roony & Yaakob should add some decent income. Hamza and Bisiwu will either move on loan/sale or play a bigger part in 27/28. If Raphinha is interested in Saudi move, he should get us some big fee too, in such a case he could be funding Alvarez dream.

I think the next summer will look a lot like the summer of 2025 when we only got Joan and Rashford on loan. Maybe we will be able to cover transfers like that if we sell Balde, Araujo or Casado but not much more, even that is questionable and we don't know which position we will target, probably defense but we said so before this transfer window and defense was ignored. Last chance for a big-ish transfer will be in the winter but I don't expect it, it's hard to sign players in winter and there probably isn't a lot of FFP left even for the winter transfer window. Maybe a CB if an injury crisis hits. It also looks like we could lose Rapha for free in 2028, we'll see if they offer him an extension soon. We can't sell him in 2027.
It's not a bad thing per se. This team knows that they have 2 full seasons to work together without big changes which can turn out better than non stop buying players. We have a very good young team in general, we'll be fine.

I think the club deliberatly left enough ffp margin that allows to go after Alvarez in winter. They promised him this and he waits for another attempt. If it doesn't happen, then the club can use it freely to sign a defender if an opportunity arises. But Julian remains the top priority.
