How didn't you? Something so logical. Camp Nou brings a lot more money from tickets, VIP, museum, shops, bars, restaurants which Montjuic doesn't and on top of that we pay rent for Montjuic. It's common sense and everybody knows it, it's only you who seem to not get it.

For me that is not logical.

The rent will maybe be around 3 million, we currently don't have VIP as it should be, the museum will still operate along with other things. Of course it won't bring in earnings like when we'd play at Camp Nou, but that's only for half the season. The second half of the season we'd play at a full Camp Nou, with all VIP seats, VIP boxes and other things, how can that not make up the difference?

How did we manage to get through the 24/25 season, where we played 25 matches at Montjuic and the rest at a almost empty Camp Nou, and still managed to cover salaries that were similar to what we have now, even a few million higher?

You are mixing different things, who said we won't be able to pay salaries? We just won't be in 1:1 as we weren't for years until we returned to CN full time. CN just brings that much more from various income sources compared to Montjuic, just check the ticket prices alone which tell a lot. Your decision if you don't want to accept it, you will see in a year. You don't find it strange only you don't seem to get it while there is a consesus in barcelonismo that will happen?

I am afraid the club will plan the budget of 27/28 with return to CN much earier than it will actually happen which will be an additional problem.

Dude, give it a rest - many sources have explained and it makes sense. Next summer will be tough to register... but you're still going on day 3 of trying to preach to the choir. Give it a rest already.

Of course wages and the 1:1 ratio are directly connected.

I think most people just went along with the opinions of a few journalists. I haven’t come across any logical explanations myself, but I’m not saying they don’t exist.

Multiple users explained it to you multiple times but you just don't want to accept it. You (or us) will see in a year. Hope you are right but I am sure you are not.

My dude Jay-Jay, let's keep it civil...
We've had problems registering players for 3-4 years, now we're back to Camp Nou and Lewa is gone and we can register players again (because we have a bigger revenue and better wage structure). Going back to Montjuice will more than half our revenue from spectators in the stadium - that's a lot of cash, A LOT! Since we're used to the snare around our throats the last 3-4 season I for one won't be risking it to register players next summer.

The reactions in this thread are weird. Other than Kane/Haaland/Mbappe he is pretty much as good as you can get.

I think people tend to imagine the striker market as far deeper than it is.

However, it is highly unlikely he is available at this point. We probably made an enquiry, but I doubt it will go any further than that.
 
Nah Esposito aint happening. He's Inter's boy, same like Lauti.

I have been hoping this is all a ruse for Thuram.

No one is going to sell their semi-decent striker in this market. Either we find some unknown talent, someone from La Masia steps up, Julian grows balls and publicly states that his time at Atletico is over or we buy some bum whom Flick turns into gold. Those are the options.
 
We could get Thuram from them though. Which would be a fine stop gap if we can return to market next summer.
