No matter how many times he misses the pens, it should be him and him only that takes it. It is him that has carried Argentina and put belief into these average bunches that they can still ‘contend’ for the cup. Also, he is a symbol, a legend and almost God by now. I don’t ever want him to second guess himself or loose confidence and no way Scaloni allows that either.
 
I know one player isn’t bigger than the sport and no 10 carries the most mythical value but is it taboo to retire it now? I don’t think it can ever be justified by anyone carrying it ever from here.
 
Also, he might actually deserve a noble peace prize to be honest (in my heart, he does).. I don’t think any one else has been able to bring joys to millions, if not billions of people for such a long long time.
