If something did happen we probably won’t get to know about it years later.

It’s just the players body language seems strange and looks like something did happen pre match whether it be something personal to the players or not.

Bro they were just dead tired probably, that would also explain why they played so passive the whole game. Scaloni probablx said 'hey guys dont push yourself too much' , plan was let messi walk in the front and if you have the ball pass it to messi, hope he has a genius moment to score a goal otherwise stay relaxed until pen shooting

In that context scalonis plan would have made sense, we cant judge in front of the tv how tired players are, they had also 1 day less rest which is huge for prof. football

in my prime yes, i didnt really care much about recovery as i didnt do it on a prof level...

tbh not really, i hated it to do defence work, i would rather rest so i can explode my power when we attack, i was by far the best dribbler in my team and i cant dribble if i have no energy (my stamina wasnt great), my coach was a bit stubborn and didnt understand that
 
I wonder if he’ll retire from the national team. With Argentina being one of the WC hosts, their only competitive matches during the next 4 years will be in the Copa America.

Something felt off about some of these players as if they had their Alba moment or what. Doesn't seem characteristic for them though and Scaloni seems to be habitual crybaby anyway. Maybe some of their relatives passed away at the same time. Idea that Trump or US would prefer Spain to win doesn't make sense though as they are among only few countries that have refused to suck jew dick and support their genocides and invasions, while Argentines president is literally talmudic chabadnik child toucher and they are very friendly to Yidhell. Trump would do everything for them.
 
Shame that we never gave this man the farewell he deserved. Kinda depressing to have a farewell like that for the greatest player the club ever had.
 
Have no idea why didn't get the Goldberg Ballz or whatever that MVP award called, because he was one by magnitude above anybody else. Rodri was good, but did nothing of sorts even close to what Messi did, especially within context. Just a decent midfielder perfectly molded into system and in great form. Was that also because of their political dissent or smth? He was more of an MVP this tournament (because weaker team and more dramatic clutch moments) than in the one they won. Even statistically.
