Maybe this is the thing that affected Arg team and Messi himself in the final, his father being on death bed. Given how much the team is coralled around Messi almost like idol figure not just mere leader and elder. rip
 
German media also report it, he had cancer apparently.

Even now the lowest of the low are still attacking Messi. Apparently also had death threats made to him during the World Cup from deranged terrorists because of visits to Israel.

That pendejo Cristina and his fans are also the lowest form of pond life going. There is no argument there was a concerted anti-Messi anti-Argentina campaign during the World Cup. That Leo kept himself going is a testament to his character, his father for making sure he carried on and the family & friends around Leo which includes the team itself.

I hope some of those miserable creatures have some degree of shame today but even now I hate Messi and his football is still being bandied about. How can you claim to like football if you hate Messi ? Messi is the epitome of what football is about.
 
Now, more than ever it is incumbent upon the country and people in power in Argentina to find out, name, shame and charge either civilly, or criminally if they can, all those that PAID for a smear campaign of hate against Messi and Argentina.

It would be so beautifully poetic if their PAID campaign of hate was turned around onto them with REAL hate.

My violin is rather small for people who don't try and stand up for themselves, so if they fail to protect the honour and respect of their country and their country's favourite son, there will be no sympathy from me.

Cristiano’s PR team should be ashamed of what they did to that man (though i doubt they feel any shame), at a time when it was already known that his father was fighting for his life in the hospital.
