He's a much more proven player than Anderson and Rogers, and not much older. Even younger than Rogers. There is no logic in Rogers being a more expensive player than Barcola, it should be the contrary.

If EPL teams pay 140m like it's nothing on players with zero European pedigree, why not 170m for a player who is superior in every way?

What has Barcola proved?

Winning 2 CLs as a bench player in PSG superteam?

He is not superior in every way to these players. Like I said his finishing is actually below average, he is very bad at finishing. He is not creative and doesn't create chances. He is just very good at dribbling and he is fast. There is a lot he must work on
 
Barcola looks like the classic talent that has everything going for him, but can never make it quite work. 100m++ is demented for him.

Rogers looks meh, but I really rate Anderson.
 
PSG are doing exactly what some of us have been said for Barca to do. Tie the pricing of your players as a Continental Elite club to those of the EPL.

If you got a strong hand (ie liquidity and no FFP issues) then this is what you should be doing.

Arguing that Barcola is not worth 170m is like arguing Enzo Fernandez teeth are not real.

Premier League proven + English tax goes a long way. In terms of output Rogers and Barcola have been similar over the past couple of years, and I think Barcola's European pedigree is being overstated a bit here. Most he's ever scored in a Champions League season is 3.
 
Barcola is a player with decent potential who hasn't proven shit yet

I don't know what European pedigree people are talking about. Winning 2 CL is not European pedigree. He played his part in some games but main players in attack were Kvara, Dembele, Doue
