Luis Enrique

Lucho went to the ultimate challenge which is the NT. Pep went to the treble winners.
Lucho negotiated with Chelsea and Napoli, both offered him zero control and he rejected them. It wasn't the easy way, he negotiated with goid faith with several clubs and simply accepted the best offer and made history there.
And I am not even sure how this is related to Barca. He can go to Qatar, EPL or Brazilian Serie A, that's up to him.

PSG is the easiest path in football. Come on... unlimited money, zero competition for most of the year, complete freedom, even the French league alters the schedule to fit PSG's plans.

If anything, this makes it more difficult.
It means you are only judged by CL, which is the hardest one to win as luck can change everything.

And again, I fail to see the relevancy of that in the discussion.

Not if the advantages you have give you a boost to win it.

There's no relevancy per se, just very disappointing that he chose to go to PSG. It's absolutely the worst of the worst, they represent the worst in the game, and have been so for over a decade.

You still avoid the question about relevance.

Also, PSG had one final appearance before Lucho, 3 total semifinals before him. In 3 years he has 2 titles and another SF.
Where was that advantagees for the 12 years before he joined when they were also big spenders?

The relevance is that Guardola deserves far more credit because he actually went to manage into a very competitive league. Luis Enrique chose the easiest way.

Luis Enrique would be a disaster with that Amigo side Pochettino had full of stars who thought of themselves as hot shots.

He manages an elite side, with insane advantages over the competition. And he's a top manager. But, seriously, the credit stops there.

come on dude, i didnt see anyone here saying PSG has a top squad after Mbappe left, i doubt anyone could only imagine what force PSG will become next 2 years and nobody can tell me that it isnt LE who created this monster team

players like kvara, dembele, vitinha, neves, mendes, doue were great players but under Luis they exploded and reached wc level

not to forget their mentality change, PSG was a meme club before Luis arrived, remember when Manu could turn around the tie in Paris a few years ago and now they dominate in Munich, the coach is key

The issue with PSG all these years was from the top. They approached their project in a stupid way, realized this, and turned the ship around very fast because they are loaded since they are owned by Qatar.

This was all before Luis Enrique.

Both you and Serghei are correct here

It's not mutually exclusive

Both can be right at the same time 🤷🏻‍♂️

So, you're playing vs Chelsea in CL, they have a hard game in the weekend, and you play vs some Ligue 1 scrub like Nantes. Relegation side. And you have the nerve to postpone even that game to be even fresher than a struggling Chelsea?

Quite unbelievable.

They dont care man. Its a 2-peat. Yes, it is a bit pathetic tho.

Pep was in a one club league for 4 years, Lucho for 2 (until now).

Pep only had 3 seasons at Bayern. And as I said, Bundesliga is completely different than Ligue 1. Bayern win it almost all the time, but at least they don't win it in 3rd gear while disrespecting it.

You know I am talking about Bayern but it's true it's already 3 seasons, time flies.

How does coaching Celta, Roma and Spain fit into taking the easy way anyway? That's easier then one team league treble winners for 3 seasons and then a decade with unlimited funds?

Ligue 1 has more different champions in this period.

And yet 2 Bundesliga teams played a CL final when Pep went there.

Btw, it's not only an issue that Ligue 1 is not a very strong league. It's also how PSG are using this to their advantage to the point of treating the league as some sort of training exercise.

They don't have have their best players involved much. It's all a travesty.
