I think we should just give 20m and be done with it. He has justified that.

What do we need him for? We played Fermin out of position even when Raph was injured. Now we have Gordon and possibly Alvarez coming as well. If we give him a permanent contract and also further reduce his playing time, he'll put in 0 work.

Only another loan or haggling United down to 15M makes sense, honestly.

Also there is big possibility of B.Silva coming to Barca.

So Rashford is no where needed as this season.

Rapinha, Yamal, Ferran, Gordon, B.Silva, Bardjhi...

We can rather get Muriqui type of player.

Nah.
I see Silva as a midfielder. Him being a backup to Yamal will create the same situation as what we have with Roony
If we have money, which we might actually have this time, we should loan out Roony. Guy clearly needs playing time, he has potential.
And we retain Rashy.

Raphinha, Yamal, Ferran, Gordon, Rashy, a ST/CF

This is a solid solid lineup for our UCL dreams. No matter who gets injured come March, we can field a front 3 that's capable of competing in the highest stages.

That said, Rashy has to decrease his salary by a lot.

I believe the whole Fermin as a LW was a test by Flick/Deco to figure if he is good enough on the highest stage on this position. Everybody knew already what Rashford can and can't do.

Now they figured out Fermin is not good enough as LW and moved quickly to AMG, a option that has probably been on the table since the games against Newcastle.
 
How much minutes is he looking at next season with Gordon here? Does he accept a bench role? Can we afford another high paid bench player?

He is already bench player, and he will not stay, unless he loves Barca so much and United are crazy enough to leave him for peanuts.
 
It should be over with him for good but my fear is they are keeping the option to sign him open if we don't close Alvarez and can't get any other striker. Hope we go for someone like Oyarzabal inestad, better and cheaper.

We're not broke this summer if we can sign a 100m player. The problem here is, with the arrival of Gordon, Rashford's position and his complete package fee + salary isn't good enough to invest in. barca still would keep him as a depth player, but only on acceptable terms. Now it's on United and him to decide. Very well played by the club, after Gordon we're in the driving seat of this transfer. If United refuses, we won't cry.
