His entire brand is built around his nonchalance and composure.Only thing I don't like with him is nonchalant attitude. Football is all about emotions. And no matter how good you are, sometimes when the going gets tough and you are marked tightly in decisive moments, you need to cultivate the anger and go for it with all your heart. This is what we didn't see by him in the semi final 2nd leg game.
For an example you can show his teammate in the national team who plays right back for us and also had this "nonchalant" vibe on the pitch. He used to be beast footballer but to stay at the top level for long you need this desire and will power. I am not saying Olise will fall the same way Kounde did but this emotionless approach rarely gets you to the absolute top in football as much as in life.
Also, staying calm doesn't mean you don't have the fire within you.
You can cherrypick such poor big games for any legend ever. Even the ones who are the angriest and most aggressive/intense.
Got nothing to do with actual performances. Different people get going using different methods. Every player is different psychologically.
