Btw another player who surprised me was Mazraoui. Top class performance

Many average or decent players look good in World Cups.
The game is much slower and opponents are often weaker and/or less cohesive.
Shaqiri (I know he's extremely talented technically) who had a rather forgettable club career looks like a god in international tournaments.

It's almost unbelievable how quickly this nation has risen to power in football
They are doing what every African nation should do. Why let European giants have the superb football talents originating from your country?
Scout these kids and monitor them from a young age. Not all of them will choose you but some of them will. And that's enough to do better than every African nation and be competent in world cup
This is their golden generation so I hope they can do something really crazy like knocking France out. Spain, Portugal and Netherlands is already a huge achievement though

Yeah, that's what happen, when you have generations of swarthy ones being ordered around by rigid white disciplinators and tutors, whose IQs are double of their median average, while most of them being born and lived in Europe instead of their shithole motherland to begin with.
