I would get at least some of the whining if this were a movie about Vikings or any variation of Germanic tribes. But you do know where Greece is located, right?

Odyssey was poor. And not just for the dei cast and inversion of the morals of the story, poor costumes, viking! ships, etc. Film itself was poor. Screenwriting in particular.
Only thing that was good was cinematography and If you want to have some fun and if movie brings you closer to the real Odyssey then it's alright, I guess.

I watched it at home so probably missed the best thing it brings (would never pay for it knowing what I did know) but still wanted to like it. Sadly I didn't and my initial hunch was right and I wasted 2 and a half hours.

I probably watched it a few times in theatres, yes during peak Covid and watch more times on TV. Loved every part of it.
 
As i understand from usual movie buffs i take a gander at in youtube, this is just another Nolan hack job. not worse or better than all his other shlock, just completely unnecessary. It's meant for 90 IQ midwits, who are probably the main base of jewywood moviegoers. Just like all his previous movies that tried to appear "intellectual", but were shallow and forgettable them moment you stopped watching. The woke things were probably amplified by the move marketers themselves to get more social media engagement, because neither jive speaking Helena or transvestite midget got much exposure. Was just another watered down dreck without any historical accuracy and artistic Merit. Perfectly embodies Nolans mediocrity and state of art (not just cinema) in degenerate USA (UsurySodomyAbortion).

Just watch the Odysee version where Armand Asante plays protagonist. Proper great movie from times less degenerate and more merit based. Was great watch for young myself. Todays movies i only tocuch with shitty stick or listen to reviews/comments. Don't want to contaminate myself.

Sure, there millions of slop consoomers, but in this case it's obvious that they are inflating both numbers. Rotten Tomatoes already proven to fudge the scores, while it's been now widely reported that people come into cinema that is supposed to be stacked, but find it half empty. There were some other movies that were treated equally brazen, like Woman King or what was that shit with celebrating negro cannibal tribeswoman. This flick HAS to be on the top, it's the token The Message movie of the year and too big to fail even slightly.

Nolan’s messages are always shallow, it’s just a good historical/mythological popcorn film shot with stunning real sets. Watch it before you brand it “the message” movie. There is barely anything of that sort there

Incredibly retarded, uninspired action scenes, bleak and and bland colors, shit costumes, using viking ships instead of authentic, shit set pieces for a movie that cost 250 million. Be Hur that was made in 50s cost 170 mil in current money and was 100x better as an epic popcorn flick. Funny that even the ugly tatooed feminist translator of the version of poem that was allegedly used as blueprint, wasn't impressed and said Nolan was unfaithful to the source material. :lol:

Bottom line, it's just another humiliation ritual for White race and Western history/culture being slowly erased/rewritten by satanic kikes.
If you're given a fine bottle of wine of 30 year maturation, but said "there's few pieces of shit floating here and there, just scoop them out", would you drink any of that wine? But I think he was already in the course if you have seen "Good Time," which came a couple of years before Lighthouse. It was a good movie.

Almost a decade he's been doing proper movies.
